Bauxite Mining Community Advisory Group

The Bauxite Mining Community Advisory Group (BMCAG) has been established as an initiative of Bauxite Alumina Joint Ventures (BAJV), which are both progressing bauxite mining projects south west of Toodyay and North of Wundowie.

The BMCAG will ensure a broad range of viewpoints are heard and enable community representatives to contribute to the Felicitas and Fortuna projects. The BMCAG has been established to facilitate formal community discussions, two way engagement and to address concerns from the community. The group consists of residents from Wundowie, Morangup, Toodyay, Gidgegannup, Bakers Hill, representatives from the Shires of Mundaring, Northam, the Avon Valley Environmental Society, Toodyay Friends of the River, Toodyay Naturalists Club, Bauxite Alumina Joint Ventures and Bauxite Resources Limited. For further information on BMCAG please view the Terms of Reference.
